Jeff Silverberg joined Howser, Newman, & Besley in 2013 and works as a litigation associate with the firm. Dedicated and hardworking, he shares the firm’s vision and philosophy of providing the best and most efficient legal services possible. His ability to analyze complex legal issues and clearly communicate them to his clients and the other parties involved in a case leads to regular success and a solid reputation with both clients and other members of the Bar.
Jeff’s primary practice includes litigation involving premises liability, auto accidents, contract disputes and products liability defense. He also assists insurance clients with insurance coverage issues.
While in law school, Jeff was a member of Law Review and served as a Student Works Editor. His student note, Hanging Out Your Virtual Shingle: A Look at How South Carolina’s Ethics Rules Apply to Virtual Worlds, was published in Volume 62 of the South Carolina Law Review. Jeff also received the Victor A. Michalewitz Award for Excellence in Legal Writing.
Jeff grew up in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and enjoys coaching soccer and spending time with his family.
