Geov Hanna is a partner and shareholder in litigation. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, he was admitted to the North Carolina Bar and South Carolina Bar in 1998. He is the former law clerk to the Honorable James C. Williams, Jr.
Geov received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A. 1992) and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D. 1998). During law school he was on the editorial staff of the Environmental Law Journal, inducted into the Order of the Wig and Robe, and the recipient of the CALI award in Criminal Procedure. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Bar, and the Richland County Bar Association.
Geov practices primarily in premises liability, construction, automobile insurance, professional liability, and products liability defense. Geov has been recognized by Best Lawyers in the area of Product Liability Litigation for 2012, 2013 and 2014. He also is speaks several times a year at CLE seminars in the areas of auto insurance coverage and trial techniques.
